Domain Name Dispute Resolution

How disputes over domain registrations are handled.

Last updatedJune 28, 2026

1. Applicable policies

Disputes are resolved under the dispute-resolution rules of the relevant registry — for .rw names, the procedures set by RICTA.

2. Our role

As registrar we comply with valid decisions and lawful orders, and will lock or transfer a domain when properly directed to do so.

3. Good-faith registration

Register names you have a legitimate interest in. Registrations made in bad faith to profit from another's trademark may be cancelled or transferred.
